  1. Uninstalling/Re-installing Aptana
  2. ====================================================================================================
  3. If you need to fully uninstall and reinstall aptana, you must delete a few folders that are not automatically
  4. deleted by the uninstaller.

  6. You will know if you did not fully delete the proper folders if you get an error like the following:

  24. To repair your Aptana installation:
  25.  
  26. Windows:
  27.    1. Use the Windows control panel Add/Remove Programs utility to uninstall Aptana.
  28.    2. Delete C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Aptana\Aptana Studio\configuration.
  29.    3. Navigate to where the Aptana application was installed, and delete your old plugins
  30.            and features folder (and all of its contents).
  31.    4. Re-install Aptana. 
  32.  
  33. OSX:
  34.    1. Delete ~/Library/Application Support/Aptana/Aptana Studio/configuration.
  35.    2. Navigate to where the Aptana application was installed, and delete your old plugins
  36.            and features folder (and all of its contents).
  37.    3. Re-install Aptana. 
  38.    
  39. Linux:
  40.    1. Delete ~/.Aptana/Aptana Studio/configuration.
  41.    2. Navigate to where the Aptana application was installed, and delete your old plugins
  42.            and features folder (and all of its contents).
  43.    3. Re-install Aptana.
